hope that works out for you...

I just looked at my stats to see that someone recently found my blog by searching blogger for the phrase "no emotional attachment." They found this entry where I use that phrase as follows: "until finally I rediscover it, with no emotional attachment to the work I've put into it, and tear it out to cannibalize the yarn."

To the person who found my blog this way:

I see you stayed for a whole 0 seconds. You mean my lack of emotional attachment to hand knits that I have created wasn't exactly what you were looking for? Hope you find it, whatever it is. Maybe youtube has what you need?

best wishes in the holiday season,
Lauren

Someone found my blog by searching on ask.com for "what is the benefit of an llm in taxation" and someone else found mine by searching google for "boob jobs for strippers deductible". Classy.

OMG. I just about died laughing. "boob jobs for strippers deductible" WOW. When you gotta know... That's great. Glad someone got real life use out of your blog!

My favorite search query that brings people to my blog: "Idaho? No, YOU da ho"

Why on earth would anyone search for that? Maybe I should Google it to find out. Maybe that's why the other people keep Googling it?

By the way, are boob jobs a legitimate deduction? ...because I'm seriously going to need one if I become a stripper, so that'd be good to know.

how do you know how people found your blog? technolgically un-saavy inquiring mind wants to know...

jalpuna - I have NO IDEA why people would search for that!!! Maybe they're betting over where/if that's from something? IS that from something? Now I'M going to google it... Just look at what we've become.

ER - statcounter.com! Becki showed me that site. It's free and they ask you a bunch of questions about your blog, then they give you some code to put on your page. I'm not sure if you're on blogger or BETA blogger (I'm on beta) but I went to customize, page elements, chose "add a new page element," and made it HTML/Java script, and then just pasted the code in that I had copied from statcounter. It's not hard, trust me... Then you can know ALL KINDS of fascinating things about who visits your blog, how long they stay, what browser and operating system they're on, what network they're on, and where they are. You can see a map of everyone who looks at your blog, too!
